                       ENNEUROPE - OFFERS FOR NOIT LAPSE


On 5 July 2003, Altium Capital Limited ("Altium Capital") announced recommended
offers (the "Offers") on behalf of Enneurope plc ("Enneurope") for the whole of
the issued and to be issued share capital and warrants of New Opportunities
Investment Trust plc ("NOIT").


On 1 September 2003, the Offers were extended until 1.00pm on Wednesday, 3
September 2003.

By 1.00 pm (London time) on 3 September 2003, Enneurope had received valid
acceptances of the Offers from the holders  of 10,097,765 NOIT Shares
(representing approximately 42.91 per cent. of the existing issued share capital
of NOIT) and the holders of 1,732,088 Warrants (representing approximately 39.71
per cent. of the issued Warrants).

The total number of acceptances received includes acceptances in respect of NOIT
Shares and Warrants which were the  subject of the irrevocable undertakings to
accept the Offers referred to below.

In aggregate Enneurope owns or has received valid acceptances of the Offers in
respect of 10,975,565 NOIT Shares  (representing approximately 46.65 per cent.
of the existing issued share capital of NOIT) and 1,907,648 Warrants
(representing approximately 43.73 per cent. of the issued Warrants).

Therefore, as at 1.00pm on 3 September 2003, the acceptance condition of the
Offers had not been satisfied and the Offers have accordingly lapsed.

Immediately prior to the commencement of the Offer Period, Enneurope held
877,800 NOIT Shares, (representing  approximately 3.73 per cent. of the issued
share capital of NOIT) and 175,560 Warrants (representing approximately 4.02 per
cent. of the issued Warrants). In addition, Enneurope had received irrevocable
undertakings in respect of 6,204,828 NOIT Shares (representing approximately
26.37 per cent. of the existing issued share capital of NOIT) and 1,024,000
Warrants (representing approximately 23.47 per cent. of the issued Warrants).

Prior to the commencement of the Offer Period on 25 February 2003, save as
disclosed in the offer document dated 5 July  2003, neither Enneurope nor any
person acting or deemed to be acting in concert with it owned any NOIT Shares
(or rights over such shares) or Warrants nor since that date (other than as
disclosed above) has Enneurope or any person acting in concert with it acquired
or agreed to acquire any NOIT Shares (or rights over such shares) or Warrants.



Forms of acceptance, share and warrant certificates and other documents of title
will be returned and appropriate instructions will be given to CRESTCo Limited
in respect of the transfer of escrow balances, in accordance with and on the
terms of the Offers.
