Dow 22,000 - So what now ! 24,000?

Long time no see  – Again,

There you have it, conservatives won and GBP/USD is making it’s way towards 1.32 ish and Dow Jones hit 22,000 as predicted.

Dow 22,000 is something I have been predicting and insisted on since January 2017.

What now ? where do we go from here? Is this it?  Is the 9 years Bull market over?

Well, for me DJIA 22,000 was and is the absolute top of the bull market and the wheels are off or about to come off this fantasy train.

The US markets have been in fantasy land ever since they came above Dow 8,000. And every time people insisted we are going to crash they took the fantasy even further. But is it over now?

My answer is – I don’t know, we are at the point that even someone such as I, who has been a bull ever since 2008 has to say it very well might be.

But one has to watch very carefully now, I think if they back off from about 22,200 ish fast and furious then we could see a drop of 2000 points and more.

If they go through 22,200 onto above 22,400 like butter –  then the possibility exists that we are going for Dow 24,000 by the end of this year. Sounds insane right? but that can very much happen.

My thoughts for few years have been that US has an agenda of attracting and concentrating all world equity wealth onto itself, it is about concentration of money, power and control and it is becoming more and more evident to me that indeed this is the macro game being played. If this is so, then we can easily see Dow 24,000 and the macro bull trend shall continue.

Having said all the above, I am going to go short on Dow and S&P when Dow Hits 22,200 ish – having on the back of my mind that I could indeed lose on this trade and instead have to switch and go long. I think coming Monday/ Tuesday are the deciders – Won’t do anything until I see the 22,200 number.

I don’t think we are going to have a crash, or have a major correction – The worst case scenario I see is Dow 19,000  for now. I would reconsider the terminology of the drop to a crash if we go under Dow 19,000.

No one should get too comfy here – Bull or Bear.

Hello Andre, What is going on with these markets, they hate Trump but still take the indices higher, doesn’t make sense at all. DJIA has reached ridiculous levels now, can they get anymore ridiculous and go for24k? You got it right again, puzzled, amused and confused.
    Please do write more frequently.
Very much interested in your course, even if it is to know how you think and operate. Keep up the excellent work and yes that woman got in power. Not good for Britain at all.Yours sincerely D

  6. Jahed H says:

Regards to you Andre, I think the bull market is over and we are going to see the dow go down to 17,000. They’ve pushed it as far as they could go, not sure why you chose 22 as a target back in jan, my guess is you know that it is a significant illuminate number.
All respect to you and post more frequently please.
    kind regards
    Jahed

  7. Edward K. says:

Hello Sir, I recall you mentioning dow 22,000 as a real possibility, you expected dow to have a fall back to 19k, I’m assuming that this is the scenario that you are writing about and expecting if Dow does not cross 20400.
Very hard market to predict I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like this is in 20 years, you got the 22k right, now let’s hope they drop to 19k which they have been delaying over and over again.

Kind regards and thank you for your thoughts and articles
