Out of EU - No Regrets - Trading the Week Ahead

There seems to be some degree of regret by the people who voted leave. That feeling is not shared by me. These are simply feelings of loss anyone or even any one nation can experience when having been in any relationship no matter how toxic the relationship and how absolutely fruitless the future was promising to be  – not  to mention totally dangerous and destructive.

Leaving EU was never about what we immediately gain from leaving but avoiding near future disasters which EU is going to experience and be part of … Financial, social, moral and cultural disasters. It was not about this month or even this year but next three years, next 5 years and the future beyond. I wrote just before the vote that the central bankers will keep us in by hook or crook and this still might be the case with a possibility of a second referendum or by making England part of some other label other than The European Union. Legally we are not out yet and we could still be made to stay. Having said that, I cannot see why Cameron would resign if that possibility was a strong one. Young people are saying we have ruined their future by voting leave .Hey ! We did this for your future so you would not be part of a disastrous European Union, we did this for you ! We did it so you do indeed have a prosperous future and are not part of a rather dark centralized banking agenda. I have no regrets and will vote leave if there is to be another referendum. EU was a burning sinking ship and we are just lucky we managed to leave before it goes down. We also did it to hopefully inspire other members of EU to have a referendum and vote leave too. I hope France, Germany, Austria or Holland will see what we did and travel the same route. Things are not good in Europe, we need to get back to some kind of sanity before we implode and explode.

How to trade the coming week ? Really hard to tell, sitting out might really be the best option but I have my eye on FTSE when and if it drops below 6,000 level, going long at 5,500 ish is certainly an option I will be considering … unless when the time comes I feel they are going to drop it even lower.  Could they try and take it down to 5,000? It is all possible. I say it is possible because I think the central bankers might try and make us regret our majority vote by creating as much chaos and mayhem as they possibly can by hitting down the FTSE and The GBP even further.  They might indeed succeed in changing our minds and make us beg to stay … next two days will be absolutely crucial in seeing through the game plans, I personally dare not trade until more is revealed. Will be watching.

Speak soon.

All in my humble opinion and no investment advice intended.

  5. Samuel G says:

I think we just have to wait and see what transpires in the next few days, weeks and perhaps years. I voted IN as I like the freedom of travel we had within the EU and perhaps some sense of brotherhood. I can’t claim to know what is best in the long run. Time will tell.

  6. Clive says:

    Totally agree-NO REGRETS.

All these Remainers who are complaining are just BAD losers, as IDS said.
They are just like petulant children having a hissy fit & throwing all their toys out of the pram just because they haven’t got what they wanted.
–as the Chancellor of a local Uni said!–& he was a Remain supporter!..
    Get real-we live in a democracy,supposedly, & you were outvoted-FACT.
    4% oveall, some 1.2m votes & 6% in England & Wales-some 1.8m votes.
Deal with it & move on.
Whatever happened to being Magnaminous in defeat.
