PITTSBURGH, May 14, 2024
/PRNewswire/ -- "My mother thought there could be a better way
to secure a patient's feeding tube," said an inventor, from
Lancaster, S.C., "so she invented
the FEEDING TUBE STRAP. The design offers an alternative to using
adhesive tape that may cause skin irritation."
The patent-pending invention provides an improved way to hold an
enteral feeding tube in position. In doing so, it eliminates the
need to use tape. As a result, it increases sanitation, comfort and
convenience. It also would limit the need to replace the tube. The
invention features a practical design that is easy to use so it is
ideal for health care facilities with patients who require feeding
tubes. Additionally, it is producible in design variations.
The original design was submitted to the National sales office
of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to
manufacturers or marketers. For more information, write Dept.
