Dow Jones News
Low wage earners across the globe are suffering and policymakers
should act to increase minimum wage levels, including those in the
U.S., Morgan Stanley Chief Executive James Gorman said
Wednesday.
Mr. Gorman, in an interview with Bloomberg Television from
Davos, Switzerland, said the minimum wage levels are "a
problem.
"We're clearly creating societies where we have large groups of
haves and have-not's," said Mr. Gorman. "We need to address it," he
said without elaborating.
