At 5.30 am ET Tuesday, U.K. trade balance for January was released. Amid the data, the pound changed little against other major currencies.

Presently, the pound is trading at 1.5667 against the greenback, 129.45 against the yen, 1.4384 against the franc and 0.8388 against the euro.
