UBS AG (UBS) recently hired James von Riesemann as a utilities analyst, according to an internal memo reviewed by Dow Jones Newswires.

He joins from Florida-based electric utility company, FPL Group (FPL), where he served as director of investor relations for the past four years.

Prior to FPL Group, he spent a year at Lazard Ltd. (LAZ) as a vice president in the power & utilities investment banking group. He also spent around nine years at JP Morgan Chase & Co. (JPM) as an analyst covering the electric utility sector.
