ECOPETROL; NYSE: EC) has been notified of Resolution 53015 of 2016,
issued by the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce, pursuant to
which an investigation is being opened regarding the alleged
committing of restrictive business practices in the natural
construction materials market, for materials extracted from the
river basins of the Acacias, Castilla La Nueva and Guamal
municipalities.
