Linc Energy Starts Drilling First Well at South Australia

Linc Energy Ltd. (TI6.SG), an Australian energy firm, said
Monday that it has started drilling the first of three wells in the
Arckaringa Basin in southern Australia.
Linc, which has interests in coal, oil and gas production, said
in a statement that it plans to drill in three sections of the
basin and that the drilling program is expected to take four
months. Linc has the rights to drill on 65,000 square kilometers of
land in the basin, it said.
