November 10 2015 - 8:00AM
ALLDATA LLC, an AutoZone company and the leading provider of
manufacturers’ automotive repair information and solutions for the
professional automotive service and collision repair industries,
announced today it has an agreement with AAMCO to deliver a
customized shop management system with point-of-sale capabilities.
The AAMCO Management System will be rolled out to all of AAMCO’s
nearly 700 franchise locations starting in 2016.
The AAMCO Management System will upgrade AAMCO’s existing POS
system to a cloud-based platform. It will include POS capabilities
as well as shop management tools, including advanced scheduling,
parts ordering from multiple vendors and access from anywhere there
is an Internet connection. AAMCO franchisees will also benefit from
ALLDATA Repair, ALLDATA Mobile and the experienced-based repair
solutions, ALLDATA Community and ALLDATA Tech-Assist.
“ALLDATA’s agreement with AAMCO shows our dedication to
delivering innovative, customized solutions to meet any vehicle
repair or shop management need,” said Mitch Major, President of
ALLDATA LLC. “ALLDATA’s product suite is ideal for any shop, large
or small, to improve efficiency and streamline operations. We look
forward to continuing to work with our partner, MAM Software, to
develop and deliver made-to-order solutions for our customers.”
AAMCO was founded in Philadelphia in 1957 and became a franchise
in 1962. The first franchise locations opened in 1963 and has
expanded to nearly 700 shops nationwide. AAMCO’s service centers
rely on the latest technology and expert technicians to diagnose
needed repairs, fix it right the first time and back it with a
nationwide warranty. They call it Total Car Care.
“We are delighted to partner with ALLDATA on the AAMCO
Management System,” said Jim Gregory, CFO of AAMCO. “We have worked
with ALLDATA for years and that background will help drive the
success of this project. Our goal is to drive long term
profitable growth to our franchisees by providing an improved
consumer experience and increased efficiency in AAMCO
stores.”
Chad Graham, AAMCO’s CIO said, “We are looking forward to
rolling this out to all of our franchisees to streamline their
workload and improve the customer experience at every shop.”
