LONDON--Wincanton PLC (WIN.LN), a provider of supply chain services, Monday said it got a new contract with BAE Systems PLC (BA.LN) to provide logistics and warehousing services in support of its U.K. shipbuilding operations.

The long-term contract of undisclosed value covers BAE's program to deliver three new River Class Offshore Patrol Vessels for the Royal Navy. Wincanton will run a central warehousing facility, inbound scheduling and collections and provide modular re-useable crates.

Shares at 0808 GMT traded a penny or 0.5% higher at 165 pence.
