U.S. Dollar Rises Against Majors

The U.S. dollar strengthened against other major currencies in
the Asian session on Monday.
The U.S. dollar rose to 4-day highs of 1.1770 against the euro
and 112.91 against the yen, from Friday's closing quotes of 1.1812
and 112.46, respectively.
Against the pound, the Swiss franc and the Canadian dollar, the
greenback edged up to 1.3358, 0.9711 and 1.2497 from last week's
closing quotes of 1.3395, 0.9676 and 1.2463, respectively.
Against the Australian and the New Zealand dollars, the
greenback advanced to 4-day highs of 0.7816 and 0.7189 from last
week's closing quotes of 0.7828 and 0.7199, respectively.
If the greenback extends its uptrend, it is likely to find
resistance around 1.16 against the euro, 114.00 against the yen,
1.31 against the pound, 0.98 against the franc, 1.28 against the
loonie, 0.77 against the aussie and 0.70 against the kiwi.
