STOBART GROUP LTD. (STOB.LN) said it signed its fourth major
biomass supply contract in four months, completing its target of
supplying 2 million metric tons of fuel per annum to the biomass
market by fiscal 2018.
At 0917 GMT shares up 6 pence, or 5.9%, at 108 pence.
A.G. BARR PLC (BAG.LN), the IRN-BRU, Rubicon and Strathmore
water firm, reported a rise in full-year profit, but said the U.K.
soft drinks market is currently experiencing a period of price
deflation.
Shares -13 pence, or 1.9%, at 664 pence.
The U.K.'s antitrust regulator said it provisionally cleared
business services firm XCHANGING PLC's (XCH.LN) purchase of
Agencyport Europe following a review begun in October.
Shares +7 pence, or 5.1%, at 143.3 pence.
NCC GROUP PLC (NCC.LN), an information assurance firm, announced
the recommended acquisition of Accumuli PLC (ACM.LN), an IT
security and risk management company, for about 55 million pounds
($81.1 million).
Shares -16 pence, or 7.3%, at 204 pence.
PINNACLE TECHNOLOGY GROUP PLC (PINN.LN) rose after the
technology solutions provider said it has entered into a
partnership agreement with O2, Telefónica SA's (TEF.MC) U.K.
business, enabling the company to provide O2's mobile, digital and
public sector solution services to Pinnacle's client base.
Shares +1.3 pence, or 20.8%, at 7.3 pence.
URANIUM RESOURCES PLC (URA.LN), a uranium exploration company
operating in Tanzania, reported a pretax loss of $307,000 for the
six months to Dec. 31, compared with $170,000 for the same period
in 2013.
Shares -0.05 pence, or 12%, at 0.4 pence.
