BUDAPEST--Hungarian oil and gas company MOL Nyrt. (MOL.BU) said on Friday that it has completed the purchase of Italian oil and gas firm ENI's Czech and Slovak downstream business, including ENI's retail network under the Agip brand. The acquisition includes 125 service stations in the Czech Republic and 41 service stations in Slovakia.

MAIN FACTS:

- The acquisition firms MOL's leading role in central Europe as its retail network has grown to more than 1,900 service stations across 11 countries.

- As a result of the move, MOL has become the second largest retail player in the Czech Republic with a total number of 316 service stations in the Czech Republic. MOL will continue rebranding the stations to MOL and Pap Oil.

- In Slovakia, MOL will operate 253 service stations under its Slovnaft brand. Rebranding of the newly acquired service stations will start in the autumn and be finished in 2016.
