Alstom to Deliver Trains in Australia for EUR280 Million

PARIS--French engineering group Alstom SA (ALO.FR) Tuesday said
it signed a contract to deliver driverless trains in Sydney,
Australia, as part of a contract that will generate 280 million
euros ($361 million) in revenue.
The company will deliver 22 six-car fully-automated fast trains
for the north west rail link in Sydney, Alstom said in a statement.
The rail link is due to open in 2019.
