announced today that it has received a $12M expansion order from a major APAC tier-1
fixed-line operator for the Allot Service Gateway Sigma and Allot
ServiceProtector solution. Allot received this order during the
third quarter of 2013.
Leveraging Allot's intelligent traffic steering and load balancing
capabilities, the solution will provide protection against
distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks, prevent outbound
spam, and will contain and clean-up infected botnet hosts. The
purchase follows an extensive six month field trial that took place
on the operator's network.
