Air Liquide S.A. (AI.FR) is in talks to buy Airgas Inc. (ARG), Bloomberg News reported Tuesday on its website, citing people familiar with those discussions.

A deal between the two suppliers of industrial gases could be announced as soon as this week, although no final decision has been made, the people told Bloomberg.
