Pound Mixed Ahead Of BoE Mortgage Approvals

(RTTNews) - At 4:30 am ET Friday, the Bank of England is set to publish mortgage approvals for June. The number of mortgage approvals is seen falling to 65,500 from 67,000 in May.
Ahead of the data, the pound traded mixed against the other major currencies.
While the pound held steady against the greenback and the yen, it rose against the dollar. Against the franc, it declined.
The pound was worth 0.8413 against the greenback, 115.21 against the yen, 1.0848 against the franc and 1.1092 against the euro as of 4:25 am ET.
