Euro Mixed Ahead Of PMI Reports

(RTTNews) - At 3:45 am ET Monday, Markit Economics is due to release its August manufacturing PMI figures for Italy. French and German PMIs are due at 3:50 am ET and 3:55 am ET, respectively. At 4 am ET, the final manufacturing activity report for Eurozone is due.
Ahead of these reports, the euro showed mixed trading against the other major currencies. While the euro fell against the pound, it held steady against the rest of major currencies.
The euro was worth 1.3131 against the greenback, 1.2064 against the franc, 136.75 against the yen and 0.7897 against the pound as of 3:40 am ET.
