US Genesis EDGE Dual-Fuel(TM) Product Achieves California Air Resources Board Certification

Distribution Agreement Signed Covering the Western Region of the US

Clean Air Power (AIM:CAP), the developer and global leader in compression-ignited natural gas engine systems for heavy duty vehicles is pleased to announce that it has achieved certification by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) for its US Genesis EDGE Dual-Fuel(TM) product. Following the announcement of Environmental Protection Agency certification earlier this year the Group's Genesis EDGE Dual-Fuel(TM) product is now eligible for distribution and sale in all 50 US states.

Clean Air Power is also pleased to announce that it has signed a distribution partnership agreement with TEC Equipment, Inc. ("TEC"), a leading Volvo and Mack truck dealership in the Western Region of the US. TEC currently operates 14 dealerships at locations along the West Coast, and further inland, spanning the states of California, Nevada, Oregon and Washington. In partnership with Clean Air Power, TEC will offer full sales, installation and product support services for customers of Clean Air Power's Genesis-EDGE Dual-Fuel(TM) system.

The partnership with TEC follows the announcement on 13 March 2015 of a similar agreement with Bruckner Truck Sales, Inc., a dealership operating 22 locations across Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.

John Pettitt, Chief Executive of Clean Air Power, said: "I am very pleased that we have achieved certification for our Genesis-EDGE Dual-Fuel(TM) in California which, as well as being a significant market for natural gas vehicles, is also the Group's home state. I am equally delighted that we have teamed up with TEC and that our Genesis-EDGE Dual-Fuel(TM) system is now available to customers across the Western region, so that we are now well placed to win the first orders for our product in the US."

About Clean Air Power

Clean Air Power designs, develops and delivers compression-ignited natural gas engines for heavy duty transport applications and manufactures innovative hydraulic valves, injectors and filters for natural gas engines sold to truck manufacturers around the world. Clean Air Power's patented Dual-Fuel(TM) and second-generation MicroPilot technology enables engines to run on natural gas mixed with diesel (or any suitable combustion fuel) providing the "spark" that ignites the gas. Substituting natural gas for diesel cuts fuel costs, emissions of carbon, nitrous oxide and particulates whilst retaining the original engine's power, efficiency and reliability characteristics. Clean Air Power operates, directly or through distributor partnerships, in the US, Europe, Russia and Australia.

Initially founded in the USA in 1991, over $90m has been invested in developing the technology with the result that 62 patents are currently held or pending. The holding company of the Group is based in Bermuda with operational subsidiaries in the UK, the USA and Australia. The Group was admitted to the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange in February 2006
