I found out talking to one of the IR guys that Snowfield is going to do a reverse stock split. As a shareholder, that news didn't evactly please me so I sold almost all of my shares and broke even with the company less the brokers commissions.

Yippee!!! Snowfield up and trading again December 23rd!!!

The only reason they're not trading today December 28th is that today is a national holiday in Canada called "Boxers Day"...whatever that is. :)

Snowfield has made 3 changes to the company dated 12/01/09:

1.They have fired their accounting firm and...

2. They have appointed a new director who happens to be an accountant and...

3. Snowfield has confirmed that they are proceeding in acquiring the 4 uranium claims on the east side of Simpson Island North West Territories Canada.

I called Snowfield today asking what was going on with the company. I was told that the cease trade order had been lifted (revoked) and the company was working towards full resumption of stock trading.

I then sent an email to the British Columbia Securities Commission asking them if it was true that they had removed the cease trade. This was the response I got:

Thank you for contacting the British Columbia Securities Commission (BCSC).
The BCSC issued a revocation order in the matter of Snowfield Development Corp. on December 1, 2009, and you can review the terms of this order on our web site, URL:

Snowfield had been late in supplying its audited statements to the B.C.S.C. (British Columbia Securities Commission) and they subsequently told the Toronto Venture Exchange which placed a cease trade order on September 4, 2009 against Snowfield.

West Texas, thanks for your interest. :)

Short and sweet...this is why I like Snowfield...SNO was in the 40's (cents) per share a little more than a year ago...got bad results from a bad contractor that used waaaay too much dynamite to blast the near surface kimberlite away from the host rock and really messed up their diamond results...stock price went waaay down to where it is now (a penny or two per share)...meanwhile the company has acquired some uranium claims with some good historical uranium grades reported by at least 2 companies and one prospector.

I LOVE companies like this! Wish there were more of them!

West Texas,as far as knowing "everything"...you can start by:

Reading my posts 24, 25, and 26. Then go to the company website and read what they've got.

Then please go to my post 35 OR the stickied post (on top of all the posts) and study it!!!

I will be happy to try and answer all your questions but I would like you to have at least some DD and knowledge to begin with okay?

Netjoy, try using SWFCF for the American symbol.

TD Ameritrade (my broker) accepts this symbol.

PLEASE NOTE: Snowfield is a Canadian company! You should always buy it through a broker that works directly with a Canadian brokerage house.

Why? You will PAY LESS for the stock.

Also please read my post which begins "Buying SNO is easy"....

Buying SNO.V is easy for me. I use TD Amritrade as my online broker. They give SNO.V an American symbol too...SWFCF.

I simply type in how many shares I want to buy, then, (next column down), SWFCF, then "limit" for type of price, then the price I want to pay (as of right now...no more than .015 Canadian or .014 U.S.).

Then I submit the "submit" button and voila, i buy the shares.

IMPORTANT!!! You should ALWAYS know exactly how many shares are on the "BID" side and how many on the "ASK" side for SNO.

I call my TD Amritrade broker up, tell him to put his Canadian screen on his computer and ask him for the bid and ask prices on SNO in American money AND also I tell my rep. that I want to know how many shares on the bid side and on the ask side.

Hope that helps someone. :)

News Release (NR 09-11) - June 02, 2009

Snowfield completes agreement to aquire 100% interest in four Uranium claims.

Snowfield Development Corp. ("Snowfield" or the "Company") announces that it has negotiated and signed option agreements with Mr. David Smith of Yellowknife, N.W.T. ("Smith") and Luxwing Holdings Limited of Hong Kong ("Luxwing") whereby Snowfield can earn a 100% interest in four uranium claims, the Gennen 1 and Gennen 2 claims from Smith and the US081 and US082 from Luxwing (collectively the "Claims"), located on Simpson Island, East Arm, Great Slave Lake, in the South Mining District of the Northwest Territories.

The terms of the agreements with Smith and Luxwing are identical whereby Snowfield will earn its 100% interests in the Claims by respectively, subject to Regulatory Acceptance, making cumulative cash payments totaling $50,000 each to Smith and Luxwing over a 23 month period to be completed by April 30, 2011; issuing a cumulative total of 12,000,000 shares from treasury each to Smith and Luxwing over a 19 month period to be completed by December 31, 2010 and expending a cumulative total of $450,000 on three programs of exploration and development each on the Smith and Luxwing Claims to be completed by December 31, 2011.

The Company views this acquisition very positively, especially in light of the recently increasing spot price for uranium. With the outlook for commodity prices generally regarded as positive and the increase in the number of nuclear power generation plants planned at record levels, the demand for uranium fuel is anticipated to remain strong for the foreseeable future.

These four contiguous Claims are located on Simpson Island within the East Arm of Great Slave Lake. The Claims are approximately 120kms SE of Yellowknife and some 65kms from Snowfield's Ticho Diamond Project near Drybones Bay, Great Slave Lake and the Company's existing Pebble Beach camp. This summer's exploration activities on the Simpson Island uranium project will be conducted out of the Company's base at Pebble Beach.

Uranium exploration in the Simpson Island area was originally carried out by Vestor Exploration during the early 1970's. Uranium was located in Proterozoic sandstones and conglomerates of the Hornby Channel formation in 3 main zones. The first of these radioactive zones was shown to contain Pitchblende and the other two to contain Liebigite (hydrated Uranyl Carbonate). Pitchblende in the first zone was found to run from 0.01 to 1.9% U3O8. It was concluded that these were mainly leached surface samples and that higher grades would be found at depth.

As of March 12, 1971, some 3,036 feet of diamond drilling had been completed. Results from drilling was encouraging and demonstrated the following concerning the uranium mineralization on Simpson Island as summarized below:

(a)  The Sosan Group is a highly uniform sequence of sandstones and conglomerates that extend to at least 400 feet below the surface.

(b)  Subsurface extensions of the surface outcrops of the rich uranium mineralization exhibit grades of up to 0.42% U3O8 over widths of up to 7 feet and 0.10% U3O8 over 39.7 feet. These assay grades compare favorably with those from Elliot Lake which run from 0.08 to 0.12% U3O8.

(c)  Uranium mineralization encountered to date exhibits chemical, mineralogical and spatial characteristics indicative of a post depositional, diagenetic or epigenetic process of uranium mineralization. This process would appear to be analogous to that which formed the rich uranium deposits of the Wyoming and Colorado Plateaus in the USA.

(d)  This drill program has only tested one of 10 known mineralized zones in the Simpson Island area and a mere fraction of the many radioactive sandstones known to exist between Simpson Island and Reliance Island.

Further drilling was carried out by Vestor in 1971 and 1972. In a report dated February 2, 1972 the following comments were made:

"Mineralization is concluded to be analogous to sandstone deposits in SW USA. Un-oxidized sections contain interstitial Uraninite. Abundant hematite in the formation is believed to be due to oxidation. It is expected that better grades and more consistency of mineralization will be found in the unoxidised zone presumably at depth. In the high-grade zone, grades run from 0.5 to 1.2% U3O8. The uranium is also associated with fine disseminated pyrite. The reduced mineralization is not surficial but is continuous in depth. The in depth dimensions of the reduced mineralization are greater than the surface dimensions. The uranium mineralization is concentrated near or adjacent to illitic shale units. The uranium mineralization is not related to the fault or vein system present. There is no evidence of any structural control of the uranium. The conglomeratic unit which contains Zone #5 dips steeply to the northwest beneath an impermeable "chloritic" cemented sandstone unit and to the west beneath finer grained lithologies. Because oxidation and leaching would result in the migration and concentration down dip and because the host unit is capped by impermeable strata that would prevent leaching, the down dip extension of the host unit is therefore an obvious high priority target."

It should be noted that all of the above mentioned grades are historical grades and have not been confirmed by the Company.

Surface sampling by Mr. David Smith in the summer of 2006 along the southern boundary of the Claims resulted in a sample returning an assay value of 1.33% U3O8. In view of this high value Mr. David Smith entered into a contract with Terraquest Ltd. to carry out a detailed airborne radiometric survey over all of the Claims. This survey was carried out in August 2006. The survey was flown using a line spacing of 100 meters and a flying height of 70 meters. The spectrometer used for the survey utilized a detector measuring some 2,048 cubic inches, 256 channels of data were recorded. This airborne survey identified numerous discrete uranium anomalies and a large number of anomalous zones within the four Claims. These anomalies have not yet been ground checked. The ground checking and sampling of these targets will be carried out this summer.

A 9.5% finder's fee will be payable with respect to each of the aforementioned transactions.

Snowfield continues to pursue and negotiate the acquisition of an interest in the Silver Oy project in Finland announced in NR 09-04, March 2, 2009.

RE:

Some big money riding on these samples, and a lot of geo work behind it.

Snowfield Development Corp. - Micro-diamond results

Trading Symbol: TSX Venture: SNO
Shares Issued: 43,050,109

VANCOUVER, Feb. 6 /CNW/ - Snowfield Development Corp. ("Snowfield") is
pleased to announce that it has received the micro-diamond results from a
composite kimberlite sample taken from its Ticho Project Mudlake Kimberlite
located near Drybones Bay, Great Slave Lake, N.W.T. Approximately 110 kg of
remnant kimberlite core samples taken from some 14 holes drilled into the
Mudlake body were submitted to the Kennecott Canada Exploration Inc. Thunder
Bay Mineral Processing Laboratory at Thunder Bay, Ontario for caustic fusion
processing and micro-diamond recovery. This process resulted in the recovery
of one macro-diamond and four micro-diamonds. The kimberlite core samples were
remnants remaining after the majority of the kimberlitic material had been
previously processed for kimberlitic indicator minerals. The dimensional
measurements of the largest diamond is listed below:

<<
--------------------------------------------
Largest Diamond (mm) Sample Sill-1
--------------------------------------------
X Y Z
--------------------------------------------
1 0.92 0.82 0.54
--------------------------------------------

An additional 4 micro-diamonds were recovered from Samples Sill-1 and
Sill-2. All results are shown below.

----------------------------------------------------------------
Sieve Sizes Sample Sill - 1 Sample Sill -2
----------------------------------------------------------------
(mm) Sample Weight 58.85 Kg Sample Weight 51.78 Kg

----------------------------------------------------------------
+0.150 1 0
----------------------------------------------------------------
+0.106 1 1
----------------------------------------------------------------
Totals 3 2
----------------------------------------------------------------

These results demonstrate the presence of diamonds in the Mudlake
kimberlite, however, due to the nature of the sampling, it is not possible to
determine which specific drill holes produced the diamonds. The presence of
one macro-diamond is encouraging and once again demonstrates the need for a
much larger sample. These results further strengthen the company's view that
only a bulk sample from the Mudlake kimberlite will establish whether or not
the body is economic. With this in mind the company is proceeding with its
plans to extract a 500 tonne bulk sample from the Mudlake kimberlite during
the current exploration season.
Drilling on other targets within the project area is currently underway
and results will be announced as they become available.

"Snowfield has been notified that their Qualified Person, as defined by NP 43-101, will be on site in Saskatoon on February 4, 2008 to audit the diamond recovery process by SRC. Results are expected shortly thereafter.

"

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Jan. 9, 2008) - Snowfield Development Corp. ("Snowfield" and the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:SNO) announces that its 2008 exploration drill program commenced today at the Ticho Diamond Project located 55km Southeast of Yellowknife, NWT. Two crews are currently in camp and drilling on a 24 hour basis with a third crew expected to be mobilized on January 15th, 2008. The current exploration drilling is focused on identifying new kimberlite bodies known to exist to the Northeast of the previously discovered Mud Lake diamondiferous kimberlite. These targets include Swamp Lake, Aspen Lake and the Sipper Lake area.

Ice road access has been established to the Ticho Project from Yellowknife with the contractor now maintaining and widening the road to accelerate ice formation. When suitable ice thickness is achieved Snowfield will complete the removal of the remaining 400 tonnes of crushed, bagged and sealed kimberlite from the original 500 tonne bulk sample taken in 2007. Once removed from the site, the 400 tonnes will be shipped to DeBeers Canada Exploration Ltd. ("DeBeers") Dense Media Separation Plant in Grande Prairie, AB, for processing and concentration. The initial 100 tonnes of the 500 tonne sample was successfully processed by DeBeers in December 2007. The concentrate from the initial 100 tonnes has now been received by the two laboratories contracted to undertake diamond recovery. 1,040.91 kilos is being processed by the Saskatchewan Research Council ("SRC") and a further 518.80 kilos was shipped to DeBeers Laboratory in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Snowfield has been notified that their Qualified Person, as defined by NP 43-101, will be on site in Saskatoon on February 4, 2008 to audit the diamond recovery process by SRC. Results are expected shortly thereafter.

I have been watching these guys for over a year and a half.

If they manage to identify their kim pipe as diamondiferous, this will likely get very interesting very quickly.

Seems debeers has some insight on the matter
