Not to labour the point but the new ADVFN serivice OneFreesharetip.com has now published free share tips for five working days. And on every single day the shares have gone up by anywhere between 4% and 10% after the tip. It is no wonder that thousands of investors have already signed up for this service – they would rather be ahead of the curve than behind it. You may not agree with what is written but it is better to know than not to know.

Today’s tip was more than a tip, it broke news. Resources guru Sam Bottell (who incidentally published a very interesting piece elsewhere today on Petroceltic (LSE:PCI) – which you can read here, revealed that Damille Investments had bought a 5.7% stake in Northern Petroleum (LSE:NOP) and explained who is behind Damille and what its game plan is – to force management to sell assets so to unlock value and return cash to shareholders. Sam tipped Northern at 56.375p on the back of it ( with a 115p target) and the shares closed the day at 59p.

Five days. Five tips. Five price rises. We have another corking resource tip tomorrow from another of our panel of star tipsters and bloggers. Don’t miss out.  It is all free.

You guys need to be very careful. A tip a day gives 245+ a year (I take it there are no tips on weekends and bank holidays). Just how much free cash are your thousands of investors supposed to have or are you advocating leveraging up to the hilt.

The time will come when the losing trades start to stack up in said investors portfolios. Or even worse hey start picking and choosing which tips they actually trade and trade all the losers – and don’t tell me there won’t be any because they will.

I happen to be invested in 2 of your tips so far so I’m not saying they are duds, it’s just I can see nightmares ahead unless the tips are sector spread, and all your investors are aware of money management.

Good luck I hope it works, but there is no way I will be investing in all the tips, I prefer quality over quantity.

245 tips a year but that works out at 15 per writer. we are not advocating that everyone buys all of them. They are just ideas. We will try to ensure variety but we cann ot dictate what each writer writes about – that is their call alone
