Quintiles announces NYSE IPO

Began trading on May 9

Research Triangle Parkbased Quintiles, a leading global provider of biopharmaceutical development and commercial outsourcing services, visited the New York Stock Exchange to celebrate the company’s initial public offering.

Quintiles began trading on the NYSE on Thursday, May 9, under the ticker symbol “Q”. Barclays is the Designated Market Maker (DMM) for Quintiles’ stock.

In honor of the occasion Quintiles Executive Chairman Dennis Gillings, CBE, joined by members of the company’s executive management team, rang today’s NYSE Opening Bell.

Quintiles is the world’s largest provider of biopharmaceutical development and commercial outsourcing services with a network of more than 27,000 employees conducting business in approximately 100 countries.
