Telegram and Web 3 

Pavel Durov, the Chief Executive Officer of Telegram, reveals the success of the new Ton network domain which is named auction. The network has proved to be profitable as more than 2000 domains have been sold and they have realised a return as high as $260,000. Telegram released the web 3.0 platform network in 2020. But due to very strict restraining policies and allegations from the United State Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Telegram had to discontinue the platform also in the same year-2020.

They were accused of selling unregistered tokens. This though, was not the end for this project because the telegram’s CEO handed the project over to an independent developer or an open source community. In response to the lawsuit that was filed against him for the sales of unregistered securities by the Securities and Exchange Commission, he had to pay a fine of 18.5 million as fine. He paid this sum of money to settle the court case after about six months.

Ton is an open-source decentralized blockchain computer network that provides a better service to millions of users. Being a network that is based on blockchain, it provides users with a secure web experience. Another benefit of Ton is that it helps to connect to other blockchain networks. In other words, it unites blockchain networks. It makes exchange of data between the smart contract of different blockchains possible.
