Twitter shares (NYSE:TWTR) are in a major downtrend, which has been going on for months. Long trades are currently suicidal in this market as we shall see.

The price has gone below the lower Trendline and the RSI period 14 is far below the level 50, even around the oversold region. This means the bearish trend would continue. Along the way there might be occasional rallies, which would be followed by further movements to the south.

The outlook for Twitter is bearish for the year 2016.
