The Foundation is looking for donors to support it's 100 mothers in need of basic necessities.

NEWARK,N.J., April 18, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Black Fairy Godmother Foundation is seeking Angels and donors to join our 7th annual Adopt-A-Mom program, extending support to families facing hardship.

"Mothers often lack access to self-care essentials, hygiene products, properly fitting bras, comfortable shoes, and basic necessities. In society, their trauma, sacrifices, and struggles often go unrecognized," remarks Gordon, founder of the Foundation.

The Foundation's Adopt-A-Mom initiative symbolizes the steadfast commitment of supporters and allies to uplift women in challenging circumstances, offering them hope and an opportunity to be celebrated as they work towards rebuilding their lives. Each adopted mother presents a 5-item wish list, delivered to them on Mother's Day. Wishlist items include mascara, favorite lipstick, feminine products, undergarments, books, and work shoes. The program has garnered widespread success, resonating with audiences across the US. Notably, the Adopt-A-Mom program has facilitated car donations in 2017 and 2023, generating viral social media posts that amassed over 40k followers.
