PURCHASE OF OWN SECURITIES 
 
On 4 June 2010 F&C UK Select Trust plc bought 65,000 of its own Ordinary shares 
of 1p, for cancellation, at a price of 83.85p each. 
 
The Company's issued share capital is now 52,279,961 ordinary shares, of which 
3,000,000 ordinary shares are held in Treasury. 
 
Therefore, the total number of shares with voting rights in F&C UK Select Trust 
plc is 49,279,961. 
 
The above figure (49,279,961) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for 
the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify 
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, F&C UK Select Trust plc
