The following table lists unplanned and planned production outages at U.S. refineries as reported by Dow Jones Newswires. The information is compiled from both official and unofficial refining sources and doesn't purport to be a comprehensive list.

Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM) reported emissions June 20 at its 240,000 barrel-a-day refinery in Joliet, Ill., because of a furnance outage, according to a filing with state regulators.

Alon USA Energy Inc. (ALJ) reported a power outage on June 20 at its 67,000 barrel-a-day Big Spring refinery in Texas. The same refinery on June 20 experienced excess opacity amid maintenance work being performed as part of the annual turnaround.

ConocoPhillips (COP) reported emissions at its 139,000 barrel-a-day refinery in Wilmington, Ca., on June 20, according to a filing with state regulators.

Frontier Oil Corp. (FTO) reported emissions on June 19 at its refinery in El Dorado, Kan., after a failure with its sulfur recovery unit, according to a filing with a government agency made public on June 20.

Delek US Holdings, Inc. (DK) on June 17 said its refinery in El Dorado, Arkansas, had resumed normal operating rates on June 15. The plant had been operating at reduced rates since May 8 due to flooding along the Mississippi River. Valero Energy Corp.'s (VLO) oil refinery in Aruba continues to operate at reduced rates after a power outage in one section of the plant on June 9 knocked some processing units off line, company spokesman Bill Day said on June 17.

Valero Energy Corp. on June 16 again said it expects operations at its Port Arthur refinery to return to normal by June 18-19. The plant's coker unit was shut on June 6 due to a power failure and the crude unit has been operating at minimal rates since that time. The restart timing was first reported on June 14.

Valero Energy Corp. on June 16 said unplanned work that began on June 15 and ended early on June 16 in Complex 7 at its Corpus Christi, Texas, refinery had no material impact on production. A filing to Texas environmental regulators listed the No. 4 crude/vacuum unit and a vacuum jet compressor as the sources of emissions associated with the work.

Valero Energy Corp. on June 15 said unplanned flaring at its Wilmington, Calif., refinery that began on June 13 had no material impact on production. Planned flaring between June 16 and June 18 will also have no impact on production.
