Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Holdings Inc. plans to acquire 7.8% of French reinsurance giant Scor SE's shares outstanding from Patinex AG, and a further 7.2% stake from other shareholders. "Sompo Japan to Buy Stake in France's Scor," at 0923 GMT, misstated the size of the stake to be bought from Patinex in the second paragraph.
