IAmElemental has created a metallic pink colorway of the popular Bravery 4" articulated female action figure from Series 1/Courage, as well as a set of greeting cards with Bravery-inspired images, designed by female comic book, graphic novel and animation artists.  All proceeds from the sale of Pink Bravery and her cards will fund breast cancer research at UNC Lineberger.  A limited quantity of figures and cards will be available at New York Comic Con booth #1760 on October 8-11, 2015 and at http://www.iamelemental.com.

"IAmElemental's female action figures exist because of my mother, who inspired me not only with her own bravery in her battle against breast cancer, but also by teaching me early, critical lessons about personal strength and empowerment.  In her memory, we are thrilled to align Pink Bravery with UNC Lineberger - home to some of the most exceptional physicians and scientists in the country - to support their work towards prevention, early detection and treatment of cancer," said Julie Kerwin, IAmElemental's Chief Elemental Officer

The partnership between IAmElemental and UNC Lineberger developed from a conversation between Kerwin and an early customer: Dr. Claire Dees, a professor, researcher and oncologist at the cancer center.  "I have spent the past 17 years taking care of breast cancer patients and conducting clinical trials to move new anti-cancer drugs to patient care.   I am continually inspired by my patients who show such remarkable inner power and strength, and I get up every day hoping to make a difference in this disease.  We at UNC Lineberger are proud to be part of this unique fundraiser as we work to find a cure for breast cancer," said Dees.
