Director's Shareholding 
 
Further to the announcement of the placing on 11 July 2011, Shanta Gold 
announces that Walton Imrie, Chairman of Shanta Gold, acquired a total of 
694,444 ordinary shares of the Company at 18p per share in the placing. 
 
Following the above share acquisition, Walton Imrie now has a beneficial 
interest in 10,090,056 ordinary shares representing 3.81% of the issued ordinary 
share capital of the Company.
