ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Raymond James recruited veteran financial
advisor Joel Feldman to the existing Conshohocken office of Raymond
James & Associates (RJA) - the traditional employee
broker/dealer of Raymond James Financial, Inc., (NYSE-RJF) - under
branch manager Rick Hartman, according to Tony Barrett, complex
manager for Delaware, Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Senior Vice President of Investments Feldman and Senior
Registered Sales Associate Ann Bender operate as Feldman Wealth
Management of Raymond James. The pair joined the firm from UBS
Financial Services, where they managed more than $188 million in
client assets and had annual fees and commissions in excess of
$1.28 million.
"Joel's extensive experience, combined with his and Ann's
passion and professionalism, are a wonderful addition to our
Conshohocken office," said Barrett. "They took the time to explore
and understand the unique Raymond James story: our client-first
culture, tremendous resources and support for advisors. We couldn't
be more pleased to welcome both Joel and Ann to our team."
"The culture at Raymond James attracted us most to the firm,"
said Feldman. "I looked at several firms, but the value the firm
places on putting clients first and the freedom given to advisors
were what resonated with us and ultimately fueled our decision to
join Raymond James."
Feldman has been a financial advisor since 1982, when he joined
the firm of Tucker Anthony in Boston, Massachusetts. In 1997, he
moved to UBS Financial Services, where he remained until joining
Raymond James. Feldman is dedicated to serving his clients'
financial, retirement and estate planning needs as well as
providing investment analysis. Having traveled throughout Europe,
Japan and Hong Kong, his clients' portfolios are global in nature.
He is a graduate of American University with degrees in finance and
criminal justice.
Bender began her career working as an administrative assistant
at U.S. Trust Company in 1978. Nine years later she joined UBS
Financial Services and worked at branch offices in New York City
and later in the Philadelphia area, dealing with a wide range of
high-net-worth clients.
