HONG KONG--Two senior deal makers at UBS AG's Asian operations
have left the bank, according to a person familiar with the
matter.
Philip Partnow, managing director and head of China mergers and
acquisitions, and Shaun Treacy, managing director in the bank's
resources division, have both departed, the person said.
The departures come after a recent round of shuffling in the
Swiss bank's Asian operations. In May, the bank named Matthew
Hanning as head of its Asian-Pacific investment-banking business
after star banker Matthew Grounds opted to step back from the top
deal-making role and focus on running the bank's Australian
operations.
