Nokia Siemens, SK Telecom to Cooperate on Liquid Applications

Finnish-German network equipment vendor Nokia Siemens Networks
(NOK, SI) said Monday it is working with SK Telecom Co Ltd (SKM) to
evaluate Nokia Siemens' recently-launched Liquid Applications in
the operator's LTE network.
MAIN FACTS:
-Following a Memorandum of Understanding signed by the two
companies in August 2012, they will sign an agreement on Feb 27 to
cooperate in the testing of Liquid Applications.
-Liquid Applications is a network technology that helps
operators provide a "truly unique and personalized" mobile
broadband experience. This is achieved by turning base stations
into a local hub for new service creation and delivery that exists
closer to the mobile subscriber.
-Shares in Nokia closed Friday at EUR2.85.
