MetLife Appoints Ashia Razzaq as Business Communications Head for Asia

MetLife today announced that Ashia Razzaq has joined the company
as its regional Head of Business Communications, based in Hong
Kong. Ashia will report to Cindy Tang, Vice President and Head of
Communications, Asia.

Ms. Razzaq joins MetLife from Standard Chartered Bank where she
served in a variety of senior roles in Corporate Affairs, including
Head of Investor Relations for Asia, Regional Head of Corporate
Affairs and Branding for the Americas, Regional Head of Corporate
Affairs for Africa, and, most recently, the Chief Operating Officer
for the global Corporate Affairs function.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Razzaq held various positions in risk
management and client coverage at institutions such as Lazard,
National Australia Bank and West LB AG. Ms. Razzaq holds a degree
from City University, London.
