Nearly $19,000 goes to help local volunteer
emergency responder groups
First responders selflessly volunteers their time and put
themselves in harm’s way for the good and safety of their
communities. In appreciation for their heroism, New Jersey American
Water is providing more than $19,000 in grants to 22 organizations
through the company’s Volunteer Firefighter/Emergency Responders
Grant Program.
A team of New Jersey American Water employees, who are all
active volunteer firefighters or emergency medical responders,
chose the grant recipients from more than 70 applications. The
selected organizations and their proposed purchases are:

this grant program, we want to thank them for their work and help
them to maintain the supplies and equipment their companies need.
They keep our homes and businesses safe each day and we cannot say
‘thank you’ enough for all that they do.”
