LONDON--Venture Life Group PLC (VLG.LN), a manufacturer of products for the elderly, said Wednesday it has appointed Adrian Crockett as its chief financial officer, who will take charge on March 6.

Mr. Crockett is joining the company from Abbott Diabetes Care Ltd., a division of Abbott Laboratories (ABT), where he was the finance director.

Shares at 0825 GMT unchanged at 58.50 pence.
