LONDON--London-listed Tullow Oil PLC (TLW.LN) announced Monday after the market closed that it will abandon the Zumba exploration well in the Norwegian North Sea after it failed to find oil.

Tullow is the operator of the well and has a 40% stake. Lime Petroleum Norway AS has a 25% stake, Rocksource ASA (RKSFF) has 20%, and North Energy ASA (NORTH.OS) has 15%./
