Tech Up as Knee-Jerk Tax Selloff Fades -- Tech Roundup

Shares of tech companies rose as a knee-jerk selloff related to
provisions in the tax bill continued to unwind.
Shares of online lender LendingClub fell sharply after it warned
of further losses in 2018.
Closely held Dell Technologies said its quarterly loss narrowed
as revenue rose to $19.6 billion and it launched an "Internet of
Things" unit.
Facebook is launching a third messaging app, a spinoff of its
Instagram service, as the social-networking giant seeks to expand
its presence in an area where it already offers Facebook Messenger
and Whatsapp.
