RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR & COMPANY SECRETARY

Scotgold Resources Limited (AIM: SGZ) (the "Company") advises the resignation of Mr Gabriel Chiappini, Non-Executive Director and Company Secretary of the Company, with effect from 16 May 2017. The Board wishes to thank Mr Chiappini for his contribution to the Company and wishes him well in his future endeavours.

The Board will undertake a search for a suitable replacement and an announcement regarding appointment will be made in due course.

Appointment of Company Secretary

The Company also announces the appointment of Mr Richard Barker as Company Secretary, Mr Barker has acted for the Company as assistant Company Secretary for the past 18 months. Mr Barker is an experienced lawyer with over 15 years' experience, and has acted as Company Secretary and Assistant Company Secretary for a number of Australian Stock Exchange listed companies for over 5 years.
