Change to Composition of Board of Directors

Mr. Cheung Kin Au-Yeung, a director of The9 Limited (the “Company”), has tendered his resignation on January 15, 2016 for personal reasons, effective immediately. The board of directors of the Company has appointed Mr. George Lai, the Chief Financial Officer of the Company, as a director to replace Mr. Au-Yeung, effective on January 15, 2016.
