Quaker Oats Recalls Quinoa Granola Bars Over Listeria Concerns

PepsiCo Inc. on Monday said its Quaker Oats unit is voluntarily
recalling Quaker quinoa granola bars over health concerns.
PepsiCo said the granola bars in question could have sunflower
kernels contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, which can cause
serious and sometimes fatal infections in children, the elderly or
others with weakened immune systems.
No illnesses have been connected to the granola bars.
The products being recalled include the Quaker Quinoa Granola
Bars Chocolate Nut Medley and the Quaker Quinoa Granola Bars
Yogurt, Fruit & Nut.
