PepsiCo Inc. on Monday said its Quaker Oats unit is voluntarily recalling Quaker quinoa granola bars over health concerns.

PepsiCo said the granola bars in question could have sunflower kernels contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in children, the elderly or others with weakened immune systems.

No illnesses have been connected to the granola bars.

The products being recalled include the Quaker Quinoa Granola Bars Chocolate Nut Medley and the Quaker Quinoa Granola Bars Yogurt, Fruit & Nut.
