GBPJPY Pound Sterling vs Japanese Yen

The British pound weakened against other major currencies in the early European session on Thursday.

The pound fell to a 2-day low of 0.9168 against the euro, from an early high of 0.9133.

Against the U.S. dollar and the yen, the pound dropped to 1.3033 and 142.07 from early highs of 1.3059 and 142.54, respectively.

The pound edged down to 1.2445 against the Swiss franc, from an early more than 3-week high of 1.2513.

If the pound extends its downtrend, it is likely to find support around against the euro, against the greenback, against the yen and against the franc.
