Elementis plc ("Elementis" or the "Company"): CFO-Designate appointment update 
 
Following the announcement on 27 June 2016 of the appointment of Ralph Hewins 
as CFO-Designate of Elementis, the Company today confirms that the effective 
date of Mr Hewins' appointment as Group CFO-Designate and an executive director 
of the Company will be on 12 September 2016. 
 
Brian Taylorson will be continuing in his role as Group CFO and an executive 
director for a transitional period to effect a smooth handover to Ralph. Upon 
the completion of such period, it is anticipated that Brian Taylorson will be 
stepping down from the Board and Ralph Hewins will assume the role of Group 
CFO. 
 
A further announcement will be made nearer the time.
