Thursday, November 26th, the absorbing courtroom drama
"The Doppelganger Principle" starring Mr.
Ed Asner will begin its
campaign on social funding website Indiegogo.com to raise the
film's production funds. The film is the latest and largest movie
seeking its funding on the internet site.

For television viewers, Ed is perhaps most beloved for his years
on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and his eponymously
successful spin-off series Lou
Grant. Movie goers will more recently remember him
for ELF and UP.
Asner is the recipient of six Emmys from twenty nominations,
four Golden Globes from twelve nominations — as well as the 116
movies he's played in, the 232 TV programs, his Lifetime
Achievement Award from SAG-AFTRA and his star on Hollywood
Boulevard. Most recently he completed the soon to be released
feature films "Love Finds You," "Mark of the Hollows," Hart
Boulevard" and "Boonville Redemption."
"The Doppelganger Principle" is the story
of an aging attorney's onerous quest for justice and is set in
Anchorage, Alaska where it will be
filmed as well as Los Angeles. The
film is being directed by movie and theater veteran Ron Holmstrom. The producers are Jan Welt,
