APPOINTMENT OF FINANCE DIRECTOR 
 
Crossword Cybersecurity Plc (the "Company") the GXG Main Quote listed company with ISIN GB00BPFJXS57 wishes 
to  announce  that  John Bottomley has been appointed the Company's Finance Director  with  effect  from  1 
November 2014. John previously acted as non-executive director of the Company. 
 
John Bottomley was Finance Director of a merchant bank, Robert Fraser & Partners Limited from 1982 to 1992. 
He  continued  working  for the same group of companies for another ten years where  he  acted  as  Finance 
Director for a group of over 40 companies. 
 
John also acted as Finance Director of AIM listed company Minerva resources plc, a company undertaking gold 
mining  operations. He was appointed to the board as Finance Director and continued in that role  for  four 
years until he oversaw a successful trade sale. 
 
John  Bottomley was until recently a partner of SGH Martineau Company Secretarial LLP. John  has  extensive 
experience  of corporate governance of quoted companies having been company secretary to a number  of  AIM, 
fully listed public and private companies as well as holding a number of Non-Executive Directorships. 
 
John  is  a  Fellow  of  the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators having  qualified  as  a 
Chartered  Secretary at PriceWaterhouseCoopers and has worked for a number of authorised  institutions  and 
property companies. 
 
As  a  result  of  the  appointment John is being awarded 5,000 share options at 1.45 exercise  price.  The 
options  vest in three equal tranches on the first, second and third anniversary of the date of  grant  and 
are exercisable up to 10 years from grant. 
 
This  appointment will ensure as the company begins to carry out its business plan it has  the  appropriate 
resources, management reporting and systems and controls in place.
