Chinese Yuan Slides To 5-1/2-year Low Against U.S. Dollar

The Chinese yuan weakened against the U.S. dollar in the
pre-European session on Friday, as regional shares fell after
Britain decided to leave the European Union in its historic
referendum.
Against the greenback, the yuan fell to a 5-1/2-year low of
6.6206 from an early high of 6.5702. At yesterday's close, the yuan
was trading at 6.5740 against the greenback.
If the yuan extends its downtrend, it is likely to find support
around the 6.65 area.
