LONDON--Barclays PLC (BARC.LN) said Wednesday Barclaycard International Chief Executive Amer Sajed will retire from his role in July, and step down from his position on the group executive committee, after 10 years with the bank.

The British Bank said it will look at internal and external options for the future leadership of its international consumer cards and payments business following Mr. Sajed's retirement.
