SINGAPORE--BOC Aviation Ltd., the Singapore-headquartered
aircraft leasing unit of Bank of China Ltd. (3988.HK), has
finalized an order for two more Boeing Co. (BA) 737-800 jets,
adding to an order of 80 such planes placed earlier this year.
The two additional planes are valued at US$186 million at
current list prices, Boeing said in a statement. Airlines and
leasing firm customers, however, are often able to extract
significant discounts of up to 30% from plane makers. Boeing didn't
disclose the exact price at which the planes will be sold.
