Australian Dollar Rises Against Some Majors

The Australian dollar strengthened against some major currencies
in the late Asian session on Tuesday.
The Australian dollar rose to nearly a 2-week high of 0.9945
against the Canadian dollar, from yesterday's closing value of
0.9869.
Against the U.S. dollar and the euro, the aussie advanced to
1-week highs of 0.7536 and 1.4589 from yesterday's closing quotes
of 0.7468 and 1.4715, respectively.
If the aussie extends its uptrend, it is likely to find
resistance around 1.00 against the loonie, 0.77 against the
greenback and 1.44 against the euro.
